Chinese-English Translator (Native English)

Job description / Role

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for internal and external meetings, business negotiations, and training sessions.
• Translate company documents, reports, contracts, and other relevant materials, ensuring accurate communication of information.
• Assist colleagues in bridging language gaps to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication.
• Participate in organizing and coordinating translation projects as required.
• Complete additional translation and communication-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
• Must be a native English speaker with excellent Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; candidates with a background in translation, foreign languages, international trade, or related fields are preferred.
• 1-3 years of translation experience; experience in multinational work or overseas projects is an advantage.
• Possession of recognized translation certifications (e.g., CATTI, TEM4, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills and a team-oriented mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern culture and business practices is a plus.
