Chinese Sous Chef up to 8k++ for a 5-Star Hotel in Dubai, UAE
• POSITION: Sous Chef
• SALARY: 8,000 AED basic salary plus accommodation, transportation, food and other benefits
• HIRING COMPANY: 5-Star Hotel
• WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to CHINESE nationals
• Male or Female, 35 years old and below
• Overseas candidates are welcome to apply
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or any related course
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel
• Must be specializing in Dimsum and Wok
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Supervises the Outlet Kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
• Monitors all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost
• Monitors regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality
• Participates in menu engineering
• Ensures consistent on the job training sessions for workmates and subordinates
• Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
• Ensures that the outlet’s operational budget is in line and costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability
