Civil Draughtsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Draughtsman to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support the design and development of civil engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting infrastructure developments in a fast-paced and growing market.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate project requirements into technical drawings.
- Review and revise drawings as needed based on feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Assist with site inspections to verify drawing accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain and organize drawing documentation and records for project reference.
- Support project teams by providing technical drawing expertise and problem-solving suggestions.

- Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts, materials, and construction methods.
- Attention to detail with strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and notes accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
