Job description / Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineering graduate with a valid UAE driving license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure maintenance, particularly in marine structures, strategic tunnels, and island developments. The candidate will be responsible for managing, designing, and maintaining construction projects, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Project Management:
- Manage the design, development, and maintenance of small to large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on marine structures, tunnels, and island developments.
Site Investigations & Data Analysis:
- Conduct on-site investigations and analyze relevant data (maps, reports, tests, and drawings) to ensure accurate project planning.
Feasibility Studies & Design:
- Perform technical and feasibility studies, creating blueprints and designs that meet technical specifications and project requirements.
Risk & Cost Assessment:
- Assess potential project risks, materials, and costs to ensure efficient resource management and project feasibility.
Problem Solving & Advisory:
- Resolve emerging issues and deficiencies with creative solutions, providing expert advice to stakeholders.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee and mentor staff, while liaising with contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Project Handover:
- Ensure the timely and successful handover of completed structures and services, meeting all project specifications.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets. Prepare detailed reports on project status.
Budget & Procurement Management:
- Manage project budgets and coordinate the procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all guidelines, permits, and safety regulations, delivering all required technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure maintenance within the UAE, particularly in marine structures, tunnels, or island developments.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other industry-related tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and safety standards in construction.
Salary:
AED
5,000 to 8,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
