Civil Engineer (Finishing Works)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specialized in Finishing Works to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the quality and timely completion of interior and exterior finishing phases of our construction projects, contributing to their overall success.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and manage finishing works including plastering, painting, tiling, and installation of fixtures in line with project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of finishing activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and review finishing work schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve any technical and logistical issues related to finishing works promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout the finishing stages.
- Assist in procurement and selection of materials for finishing works to guarantee quality and cost-effectiveness.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with Minimum 3years experience in GCC.
- Proven experience in managing finishing works within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and commitment to quality delivery.
