Job Title: Laboratory Technician – Soil & Water Testing

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Working Hours: 9 hours per day

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect, prepare, and analyze soil and water samples
• Conduct physical, chemical, and basic microbiological tests as per standards
• Record, interpret, and maintain accurate test results and laboratory reports
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of samples
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality control guidelines
• Assist in field sampling when required
• Coordinate with senior technicians and supervisors

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology / Chemistry / Environmental Science or related field
• DHA / DOH license required
• Experience in soil and water testing preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory standards and testing pr

The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. A valid DHA or DOH license is mandatory, as the role involves regulated laboratory testing activities within the UAE. Candidates must have hands-on experience in soil and water testing, including physical and chemical analysis, sample preparation, and result documentation.

Strong knowledge of laboratory testing standards, quality control procedures, and safety regulations is essential. The candidate should be familiar with laboratory equipment used for soil and water analysis and capable of performing routine calibration and basic maintenance. Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting test results is critical.

The role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with good time management skills to meet testing deadlines. Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation are required. Field sampling experience will be an added advantage.

Good communication skills in English are preferred to ensure clear coordination with supervisors and team members. The candidate must be physically fit, responsible, and committed to maintaining laboratory integrity and compliance at all times.

Salary:
AED 2,000 to 2,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
