Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented civil landscape inspector to join our award-winning team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site inspection, quality control, and compliance monitoring of landscape works, ensuring alignment with project specifications, international standards, and client expectations.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Supervise and inspect all landscape construction activities including softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and associated civil works.
  • Ensure that all landscaping work is carried out in compliance with the approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor contractors' progress and performance, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion of activities.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports for landscape-related elements.
  • Review and comment on contractors' method statements, materials submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with other site inspectors, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any non-conformances identified.
  • Assist the resident engineer/landscape engineer in monitoring the progress of landscaping works and resolving site issues.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

  • Experience in landscape inspection, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
  • Previous experience working with engineering consultancies or supervision consultants in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, irrigation systems, and soft/hardscape materials.
  • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations, DEWA, and other local authorities.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other standard industry software.
