Civil Site Engineer

Job description / Role

1. Construction Production and Schedule Control: Responsible for daily construction production and resource coordination, ensuring the dovetailing of construction activities. Dynamically monitors and controls construction progress to guarantee the achievement of key milestones and the overall project deadline.

2. Quantity and Cost Support: Responsible for the verification and calculation of on-site completed work quantities, providing accurate data for progress payment applications and cost accounting.

3. Safety, Quality, and Technical Assurance: Participates in drawing reviews and safety/technical briefings. Coordinates with the Safety and Quality Departments for on-site safety condition confirmation and hazard identification.

4. Documentation and Handover Management: Responsible for the collection, collation, and archiving of technical documentation and photographic records during construction, ensuring they are timely, accurate, and complete. Organizes and/or participates in various stages of project inspection and handover.

5. Internal and External Coordination: Maintains close communication and collaboration with various functional departments within the project team. Liaises with the Client and the Consultant on production-related matters.

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering
2. Minimum of [e.g., 5] years of proven experience in civil engineering projects
3. Strong knowledge of international engineering standards (e.g., US, EU, UK, Australian codes).
4. Proficiency in engineering software
5. Possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication and coordination skills, a team-oriented spirit, and the ability to solve complex problems. Must be adaptable to the working environment of a construction site.
