Civil Technical Manager

Guildhall is seeking a highly skilled Civil Technical Manager for our client, a leading construction company. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale civil projects. Experience in bridge construction is essential, as the role will involve overseeing technical aspects of such projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the technical aspects of civil engineering projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Oversee design, planning, and construction activities for bridge projects and other civil infrastructure works.
• Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical challenges that arise during construction.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment with contractual requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on civil infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 1 bridge project experience.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and coordinating complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of local construction standards and regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
