Claims Consultant

Job description / Role

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for experienced Claims Consultant's to be engaged on a permanent basis in Dubai and KSA.
The role of Consultant will involve being assigned to one or multiple commissions in line with the business’s needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Delivery:
• Conduct in-depth research, review, analyze, and present documentation and data to support project goals.
• Assist in drafting clear, coherent correspondence and/or narratives for submission to clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Analyze, compile, and summarize records to substantiate claims or rebuttals as required.
• Share knowledge proactively and provide skills support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Draft specific sections of detailed reports with supervision and feedback from senior team members.
• Prepare and submit bi-weekly progress reports to the team leader or Commission Manager as requested.
• Gain practical, hands-on onsite experience to enhance professional expertise.
• Manage document control and administrative staff effectively on assigned commissions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Comply with all relevant aspects of the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures to maintain high standards of delivery.

Education & Memberships:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.
• Actively working towards or having attained membership of a relevant construction professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, ICE).

Experience:
• Demonstrable background in quantity surveying, civil engineering, estimating/cost management, project management, or planning, ideally with leading international consultancies or contractors.
• Proven ability to write detailed, professional reports and deliver impactful presentations.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• UAE experience is essential to ensure familiarity with local standards, regulations, and project requirements.

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
