Job description / Role
Primary School Teachers are eligible to teach children between the ages of 5 and 12, or in Year 1 to Years 6 or 7, depending on the state’s school structure. Along with developing students’ literacy and numeracy skills, Primary School Teachers assist with building problem solving and social skills.
The Class Teacher (Primary School) develops schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. He/she facilitates learning by establishing good relationships with students and by the effective organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment
Responsible to: Head of Primary Phase
Responsible for : Creating a very conducive learning environment for all types of students and encourage holistic development for all.
Requirements
- With 5 years’ experience Cambridge Curriculum
- Excellent communication skills with right pronunciation and diction and accent
- Sound knowledge about the social, physical and emotional development needs of the students
- Empathetic to the special needs children
- Team work
- Interpersonal skills
- Good listener
- Ability to foresee things
- Ability to infer data from given statistics about the student’s progress.
- Ability to engage students in a great learning atmosphere
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Documentation skills
- Taking the school properly through the School Improvement Plans
