Client Partner - North Africa B2B and Partnerships (SHAHID)

Responsibilities include:

- Develop, implement and own a partner-centric business development and market growth strategy for Shahid’s SVOD business in North Africa; ensuring consistent growth in revenue and SVOD subscribers
- Proactively manage execution of partnerships, including strategic telecom operator, payment and device partners, to optimize results for Shahid and partner and grow the account
- Generate new business, identifying and developing new partners to drive distribution and monetization of Shahid VIP in North Africa, handling the entire sales life cycle.
- Cultivate deep relationships with senior management at partners’ Business Unit Head and C-level to identify new opportunities and obtain support for partnership execution
- Identify trends within partner departments, the overall industry and competition, and effectively communicate those to relevant teams/colleagues at Shahid as inputs to enhance marketing, product, content, and distribution strategy
- Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information
- Pipeline and Revenue management / forecasting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
- Effectively collaborate with internal and external customers on business-related support activities,
- Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent Shahid at community events and other business-related meetings, promoting the company products and services

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally dynamic and driven individual with an autonomous, effective approach to business development and partner management. They would also be focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving; breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. Those with experience in the OTT entertainment and digital payment industries would be at a distinct advantage.

Other requirements include:

- Proven track record of Business Development and Partner Management experience, ideally within a Digital Content/Technology, Information Service Provider or OTT Digital Entertainment/Payments organisation
- Excellent network of contacts within the Telecom Operator/OEM/payments landscape across the North African region, particularly Egypt
- Strong communication skills with a partner-centric approach to business development and ability to influence and articulate a value proposition based on client understanding of the business
- A proven track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and execution
- Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of revenue forecasting and managing P&L reporting
- Fluent in Arabic and English in oral and written form, French would be advantageous
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally
