Clients & Industries - Business Development and Marketing - Associate

Job description / Role

As part of the firm's internal Clients & Industries team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of go-to-market and business plans, requiring close collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders.

You will need to have a good knowledge of marketing best practice, and quickly develop a sound understanding of Deloitte's business, strategy and organisational structure.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting the development and delivery of industry focused marketing and business plans, and preparing periodic reviews as needed
- Assisting the development and delivery of key client plans and account-specific activities, as well as client pursuits
- Opportunity tracking
- Managing firmwide digital platforms and channels (website, intranet, social media accounts, etc.) - establishing a robust planning and scheduling approach
- Measure and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of marketing initiatives
- Writing, editing and proof reading a wide variety of content including emails, external/internal communications, social media posts etc. in line with the firm's tone of voice - confident and clear
- Building and updating business development tools (credentials, clients and contacts database, etc.)

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or any other related business studies
- Having worked in a complex, matrix or multi-faceted environment will be an advantage
- Be a creative thinker who also has good attention to detail - great ideas and high-quality standards
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
- High quality research capability
- English language fluency required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build solid relationships and gain credibility with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Possesses strong project and time management skills
- Proactive, positive, hard-working and resilient
