We are seeking a skilled clinical genetics physician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this pivotal role, you will provide specialized care and counseling to patients and families affected by genetic conditions. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing genetic disorders, interpreting genetic tests, and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique genetic profile.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients presenting with suspected genetic disorders.
• Analyze and interpret genetic testing results, communicating findings to patients in an understandable and compassionate manner.
• Develop personalized treatment strategies and management plans based on comprehensive genetic assessments.
• Provide genetic counseling to individuals and families, addressing their questions and concerns about genetic risks and implications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to further the understanding of genetic disorders.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a focus on clinical genetics.
• Board certification in clinical genetics is required.
• Active and valid medical license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical genetics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of genetic testing techniques and their clinical applications.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
