Clinical Psychologist

Job description / Role

This job opportunity is with a leading mental health clinic based in Dubai, UAE.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you are responsible for identifying psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues, diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials. You would collaborate with psychiatrists and other professional staff in developing Psychological service programs. Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behavior modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy. Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans based on patient’s condition. Ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

To be successful, you must have Masters or Doctorate level qualification in Clinical, Health or Neuropsychology with 5+ years of post qualification experience. You must be licensable by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), being already licensed a plus.
