Employment: Full Time

Objectives: The Cloud Solution Architect will partner closely with Sales to develop new Cloud business.

In this senior role, Cloud Solution Architects bridge the gap between business and technology, speaking the value language of business and technology C?level individuals. They combine an understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the business objectives of our customers.

The Cloud Solution Architect will work with specified sales people to discover and develop solution driven opportunities to CNS customers.

Applicants should be experienced technologists with experience of designing cloud solutions with Oracle and Azure.

Main responsibilities:
• Building trusted advisor status with key technology executives and decision makers to drive customer success and generate new business for CNS
• Lead the application team in designing and presenting solution architectures
• Architecture/solution design and presentation
• Solution sizing and configuration
• Understand and presentations roadmaps for key CNS Cloud services.
• Reference Selling - Customer References, Performance Benchmarks, Reference Architectures, Optimized Systems Demonstration of key solutions
• Lead and execute customer discovery with a cloud first mindset, helping customers to realize benefits of a cloud-based architecture
• Provide assessment of current state architecture and recommendation of future state architecture
• Design, validate, and present Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction
• Provide detailed sizing and associated justification
• Identify and evangelize key business and technology benefits of adoption
• Provide roadmap and develop plan for the company’s upgrade to cloud
• Advise on organizational impact of solutions
• Identify customer projects and be cloud lead solution architect across multiple customer opportunities
• Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business.

• Working Hours: Sun-Thursday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
• Travel requirements: within UAE

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting cloud based infrastructure
• Microsoft Azure certified
• An in depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models
• Knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, big data, Java applications, Oracle and non-Oracle applications
• Extensive experience in conducting Cloud Readiness Assessments observing business and technical perspectives
• Experience in evaluating existing data centre and digital strategies
• Experience in conducting cloud service maps, TCO analysis, security considerations as part of a wider Cloud Adoption Framework
• Wide knowledge of IT market and trends
