Featuring 498 rooms and suites starting from 44 sqm and 97 serviced apartments, the property will offer five dining concepts, Sofitel Spa, an outdoor pool with private cabanas, 10 meeting venues and one ballroom.

The Position

The Cluster Marketing and Communications Executive will be responsible for working and collaborating with the marketing team to establish and drive marketing initiatives and executing all Marketing projects and campaigns. Identify target markets and analyse current market, social & digital trends to implement new strategies. The responsibilities will include managing and growing internal sites, digital platforms, social channels, PR, media relations and driving business whilst understanding and complying with the policies and procedures of the hotel.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing coordination of marketing and communications activities to leverage results as directed by Director of Marketing and Communications.
- Execute marketing projects related to rooms, F&B, Conferences and Events and Spa with high quality and on-target delivery.
- Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of marketing communications and campaigns.
- Monitor all partnership marketing offers and track its validity and effectiveness by ensuring all offers are communicated to the relevant departments.
- Making sure that all information about the hotel, F&B outlets and other hotel facilities mentioned in all channels (print and online) are correct and up to date.
- Identify and executive Marketing Partnership opportunities.
- Assist in distribution of press releases to targeted media/media agencies.
- Ensure press material, image library, third-party websites etc. are updated and accurate.
- Ensure media and partners lists are accurate, updated and well maintained.
- Assist Handling media inquiries and interview requests and respond to enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations as directed by Director of Marketing and Communications.
- Plan and execute press releases, press conferences, press tours, and overall press relations.
- Support the Director of Marketing and Communications with press agencies liaison.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
- Provide ongoing social media support, both technical and editorial, as directed by Director of Marketing and Communications and Director of Digital Marketing.
- Assist and monitor influencers and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
- On property Communications & Marketing support (be present filming and photo shoot activity - both internal and external, conducting site inspections when required).
- Produce PR, Marketing and Social media activity reports.
- Create monthly Social Media content plan for offers, events, and happenings within the predetermined period across all channels and platforms.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages the community to take action across all social media channels.
- Manage social media community management and respond to mentions and messages over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.
- Manage internal websites to ensure all information is up to date.
- Support the Cluster Director of Digital Marketing in research, analysis and recommendation of most appropriate digital marketing activities for all properties and products.
- Assist and monitor influencers and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
- Analyses social media and digital campaigns to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
- Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media.
- Ensures promotional activities are effectively executed across all distribution channels available.
- Contribute information and data to the monthly reports.
- Assist in CMS management.
- Support in e-mail marketing related activities.
- Monitoring competitor activity on press and online.
- Diligently maintain accrual records on a monthly basis.
- Raising purchase orders and process invoices on time.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business.
- Highly organised, outstanding communication skills and great attention to detail are key qualities to success in this role.
- Technical competence in graphic design, development and production.
- Photography & Videography skills are a plus.
- Excellent, both as communicator & listener when dealing with guests, journalists, suppliers, trade partners and equally with colleagues.
- Production planning and project management skills.
- Proficiency in new media, social media and online publication.
- Understanding of design programs such as the Adobe Suite. (Desirable)
- Strong proficiency on Microsoft Office. (Essential)
- Outstanding English skills in written and verbal language. (Essential)
- Experience in managing social media platforms and knowledge of best practices and latest trends in social media marketing
- Outstanding writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, including working out of office hours and occasionally on weekends.
