What you will be doing:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and oversee the day to day operations of the Human Resources Team
- Assist with the implementation of new Human Resources strategies and constantly revaluate processes
- Assist the Director, Human Resources in assessing organizational needs, developing aligned Human Resource solutions and implementing strategies in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration and Colleague wellness
- Lead and manage the day-to-day recruitment activities within the hotel to ensure standards are followed
- Responsible for the management of all vacancies on TAS, including posting and closing vacancies and forwarding candidates that pass their Talent Meter to department heads
- Responsible for interviewing all candidates up until Director Level.
- Engage in Colleague wellness activities with the Hotel Nurse and understand the medical benefits and processes
- Oversee the Colleague Housing Team, and liaise with the Housing Manager to ensure Colleague accommodation is clean and well maintained
- Promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
- Assist Departmental Leaders with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified in Colleague feedback
- Assist in ensuring the accuracy of the monthly financials, including forecasting monthly expenses, accruals, and turnover report
- Assist with and support staff events
- Follow departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Previous Human Resources leadership experience required.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications essential.
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
