Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Based on the specific requirement of the role

Key accountabilities

- Manage end-to-end planning and delivery of smaller projects within COE team.
- Research on various COE topics to understand the market best practices.
- Work with Shared Services to review and define processes to ensure efficiencies in way of working.
- Support both Reward and Talent teams on day-to-day transactional and analytical activities.
- Monitor Reward / Learning inbox and answer related queries from HR teams on day-to-day basis and escalate the unresolved.
- Support Talent manager in execution of leadership events across Serco Middle East. Includes liaise with senior stakeholder (RELT) team.
- Support and provide coordination to COE team with major projects such as Al Masar Nationalisation program, Pay for Performance, Viewpoint etc.
- Liaise with HR Shared Services to ensure they are up to date on all reward and talent policies and processes.
- Maintain required in-house tools, trackers and data sources.
- Work with external vendors for the department such as Hay, Mercer, Towers Watson, Coaching providers etc.
- Be subject matter expert in understand reward policies to help answers queries from HR teams as well as participate in multiple benchmarking surveys throughout the year.
- Analyse high volume of data from various sources and provide recommendations on various reward projects (Survey submissions, Bids, salaries, benefits etc.).
- Conduct various modelling exercise on reward projects to support development of diverse options to support reward strategies (Salary reviews, benefits review etc.).
- Work with group to provide accurate data and reports for Leadership team pay and benefits.
- Implementation of the pay exceptions process to ensure correct approval is obtained for all exceptions in a timely manner in line with business needs.
- Provide updates and make potential recommendations based on data analysis on employee benefits to ensure plans are competitive.

Requirements

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications

- Degree and professional qualification with statistics or mathematics background preferred
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years of HR experience in Reward or Talent functions preferred
- Ability to deal with sensitive information in a discrete manner and with integrity
- Strong analytical skills and MS Excel skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team with the ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Good planning and organising skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Flexible and calm under pressure with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Pro-active and driven, with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Additional / special features of the role

- Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.
- Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Serco non-disclosure policy.
- To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Serco organisational HSE responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Serco and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment.
- Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.
