Role purpose

Supporting MPM legal and collection operations and support to Property Management - UAE.

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Managing administrative budgets.
  • Maintaining corporate relationships.
  • Monitoring operating expenses.
  • Liaising with HR and other departments.
  • Updating attorney on business performance.
  • Carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable procedures.
  • Following up bounced cheques and emphasizing that they are collected as soon as possible.
  • Checking the non-collected cheques and reviewing the required supporting documents; preparing the missing documents to ensure they are in proper format for police stations' acceptance.
  • Taking legal action against non-collected cheques by transferring them to law firms and preparing the required reports.
  • Solving problems relating to bounced cheques and police cases.
  • Responding to inquiries on a variety of matters such as the status of pending bounced cheques, latest updates of police cases, administrative and court rules.
  • Following up case updates with law firms and updating the system accordingly.
  • Following up deposited amounts in police stations with law firms and collecting them.
  • Receiving invoices from law firms, reviewing them, and processing in Oracle system.
  • Following up payments of legal fees with accounts department and handing them over to law firms.
  • Providing information and direction to interested parties.
  • Preparing reports on the status of bounced cheques and police complaints.
  • Timely and efficient completion of routine and job-related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring all bounced cheques are followed up on daily and weekly basis.
  • Providing monthly reports to managers accurately and punctually.
  • Complying with updated new policy, SOP, or procedures released and arranging to attend training if required.
  • Meeting with tenants and owners to explain the status of their cases.
  • Meeting with law firms' representatives to discuss case updates and all related subjects.

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree with knowledge of banking and accounting business.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Office administration experience.
