The Collection Management System (CMS) Unit Head will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimisation of the CMS within the digital department. Description
* Administer, customise, and optimise the museum's CMS (e.g. KE EMu or similar).
* Ensure data integrity and compliance with legal and industry standards.
* Lead digitisation initiatives and strategies for online public access.
* Develop documentation policies aligned with SPECTRUM, GDPR, and copyright regulations.
* Collaborate with curatorial, conservation, and technical teams to support collections care.
* Provide training and support on CMS usage and documentation protocols.
* Liaise with external software providers to ensure system performance and innovation.

Requirements:
A successful Collection Management System (CMS) Unit Head should have:
* Proven experience managing museum collections and CMS platforms.
* Strong knowledge of documentation standards and legal frameworks.
* Successful track record in digitisation and digital access projects.
* Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
* Academic background in Museum Studies, Collections Management, or related field.
