Job description / Role
Our client, a leading company in the UAE is looking for a Collections Strategy Manager to join their growing team in Dubai.
The main purpose of the role is to design and develop collection strategies to improve collections performance and ensure that the strategies are implemented adequately to get optimum results. In addition to review and monitor Scorecards developed by the Credit Risk Department and devise a suitable implementation strategy.
The main responsibilities of the role include carrying out collections strategy, setting the annual control plan for Collections and track the performance on a monthly basis, segmentation analysis, system enhancements related to collections, processing new initiatives and carrying out portfolio quality reporting and MIS reporting.
Requirements
• Degree educated in Banking/Finance or Engineering.
• A minimum of 6 years work experience in Banking/Financial Services, in addition to 1 year of local market exposure.
• A minimum of 3 years in Credit Risk Management, 1-2 years experience in business intelligence and 2-3 years of experience in MIS/Statistical analysis.
• Excellent SAS experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent data presentation skills.
• Excellent report writing skills and in-depth awareness of local market dynamics.
• Strong project management skills.
