Job description / Role
We are working with a large banking organisation looking to hire a new Collections strategy manager to drive development of collection strategies and improve collections performance.
The primary function of the role is to devise a Collections strategy plan in order to ensure strategies are implemented to gain optimal results. It is also required to review Scorecards through credit risk to create implementation strategies.
The Collections Strategy Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Improve collections strategy governance by developing strategy documents related to collections to ensure that all processes are followed.
• Ability to set the annual control plan for collections and track performance on a monthly basis.
• Devise new initiatives showing cost Vs benefit analysis to drive higher resolution rates across all products.
• Monthly MIS reporting with portfolio performance on a quarterly basis highlighting and recommending areas of concern for the business.
• Constant system enhancements to collections, revenue and delinquency performance
Requirements
• Graduate of Engineering, Finance, Banking or equivalent.
• The candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in the banking /financial services.
• Must have strong experience in MIS/ statistical analysis.
• Excellent skills of working SAS
• Experience within Credit Risk management and Business Intelligence.
• Strong Management skills.
• Must have a drive to see results materialise through project ownership.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are paramount.
