Middle East Executive are currently managing a retained executive search assignment for a global foodservice business with a strong presence here in the UAE.

As the Commercial Director, you will be leading and developing the organisational commercial landscape for a key player in the foodservice industry. You’ll be accountable for overseeing product development, identifying new market opportunities, determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/client satisfaction and directing marketing operations.

Fundamentally, you will be responsible for achieving the commercial company objective (top line revenue) and sales related daily operations of the business ensuring the allocated sales targets are met, distribution coverage, business development and excellent customer service level across all sales channels.

Key responsibilities;

• Lead and manage the sales team and managers towards higher performance levels though coaching, KPI & SMART objective settings and monitoring, regular feedback sessions and one to ones, appraisals and disciplinary
• Managing the existing brands: Supplier management, joint business plans, long term growth plans, payment terms, distribution contracts
• Direct all operational aspects including telesales and online platforms, marketing and promotion activities, departments to ensure an excellent customer service level.
• Expansion and rationalizing the portfolio
• New Brands, entering into new categories
• Rationalizing/Dropping non-profitable brands
• Manage working capital through effective monthly sales forecasting, stock management and execution of the stock management priorities.
• Ensure management of the collections/payment terms in the market
• Responsible to collaborate the finance team to ensure better payment terms negotiation, timely payment collections from the customers, reconciliations of suppliers’ contributio
• Explore new business opportunities in line with the business model and strategy
• Streamlining lead generation processes enabling sales teams to chase leads promptly

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 53,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Key requirements;

- 10 to 15 years of experience in Food Service sales.
- Minimum of 7 years in a sales management position.
- Proven track record of multi brand handling and P&L accountability
