Job description / Role
We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Management team at Transguard Group. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of risk through the establishment and maintenance of commercial processes across the full pre- and post-award contract life-cycle.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will assess opportunities (including tenders, and quotations), identifying and analyzing risk, before advising and supporting stakeholders through client negotiations. You will present key commercial considerations to the relevant approvers both in person and in writing.
At the post award stage you will support the handover process to the operations team, ensuring ‘right first time’ service delivery whilst ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to track performance against key contract deliverables .
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Quantity Surveying/Project Management certification and/or relevant industry certification
- Substantial commercial experience gained through Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, and/or Project Management, preferably with security, systems integration or maintenance background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
