Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

Below are the general duties and responsibilities of the role which will later be specified in the final stages of the interview process:

• Supporting team members in making daily commercial decisions
• Develop and implement the commercial strategy in order to accelerate growth
• Developing financial plans including short and long term budgets
• Conducting analysis of commercial opportunities and solve problems with commercial issues that may arise
• Responsible for the market research, data collection, business plan and feasibility analysis of investment projects.
• Expand the relationships with existing clients by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
• Managing budgets, expenses and pricing, and commercial arrangements
• Preparing financial reports and analyzing data in terms of business performance including profitability and revenue
• Collaborating with managers to drive financial performance and to create efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered budget
• Makes sure stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.
• They assess risks and make recommendations based on analysis of all factors affecting a business situation
• Extensive understanding of business growth models and ability to foresee commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• Must have more than 10 years of working experience in the UAE as a main contractor
• Must have experience in multi-million Roads, Bridges and Infrastructure projects
• Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years
• Minimum Educational qualification is Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the Job Position
• Must possess strong leadership qualities. Must be able to work as part of a team as well as manage a team.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational & project management skills
• Technical understanding of construction
• Must be adept with UAE Laws and Regulations
• Strong Knowledge of FIDIC / CESMM
• Excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risk
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skill
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
