Job description / Role
• Project Cash flows, Flexible Budget Reporting and Project Forecasting
• Subcontract Procurement Management
• Subcontract Management (Variations, Valuations and Payment)
• Subcontract Final Account approval
• Main Contract Variation/Contractual Claim approval
• Employer Payment application submission/negotiation/agreement
• Main Contract Final Account submission/negotiation and agreement
• Cost, Revenue and Forecasting
• Monthly Project Reporting
• Commercial Human Resource Management
• Legal and Contractual Issues: To ensure that all legal matters are clearly identified in a timely manner and the appropriate action taken. Also to provide guidelines for the use of internal and external legal and contract resources.
Requirements
• 20 years minimum contracting experience in commercial role- quantity surveying, contract, administration, cost management, claims management etc., including 10 years overseas experience.
• Experience in the region an advantage
• Management of large scale construction projects and the inherent teams of Commercial staff
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Contract Administration
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of cost control and forecasting
• Final Account preparation, negotiation and close out
• Contractual Claims preparation, negotiation and close out
• Understanding and ability to use computerized cost control systems
• Provide commercial assistance and advice on prospective value engineering measure to the Project Director
Minimum Education
• IQS/RICS Professional Qualification.
• Degree in construction related technical discipline-civil, building, construction / Quantity Surveying.
