Commercial Professional (Major Exhibition Development) - Emirati National - Dubai, UAE
Do you have around 3 years of construction commercial experience and looking for an opportunity to develop your Commercial Management skills on a major construction Programme within the UAE? CH2M have partnered up to form a joint venture that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related Programme management services for a major exhibition.

It will be the first time that such an exhibition will be hosted in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia Region and it is expected to be a significant catalyst for growth for business across wider region.
As the Programme gains rapid momentum and new projects begin their life cycle, The Commercial Professional will be responsible for the commercial management of the project lifecycle regime.
Reporting to the Project Commercial Lead, as the Commercial Professional you will:-
• Provide support and assistance on day to day commercial activities as delegated
• Monitor and report on project financial performance and ensure relevant risks and opportunities are reflected in project estimates and provide early warning on issues and concerns
• Utilize analytic and quantitative decision analysis tools and techniques to infer/quantify/ estimate financial implications of risk and alternative reward and trade-off decisions
• Prepare and review cost models and assumptions to ensure consistency with requirements of ITT and/or contract
• Manage production of monthly payment applications from the project office
• Assists with production of monthly cost reports including Earned Value
Requirements
This position is for an Emirati National. As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified in either a Civil, Engineering or a Commercial related discipline from an accredited University and will possess around 3 year’s professional experience. You will already possess contract analysis skills with some experience in negotiating contracts.
You will have sound understanding of project cost management principles including experience in cost reports, estimating, payment evaluation and risk quantification.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Excel etc.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Experience within the Dubai Market is preferred.
