Commercial Surveyor/Agent

Job description / Role

Based in UAE, we are looking to recruit an MRICS qualified professional with a flexible attitude and variable skill set to assist in strengthening the commercial office agency and logistics and industrial team but also to be capable of undertaking assignments within the Knight Frank service line offering.

• A willingness to learn and understand a new real estate market.
• To understand the business and have a sound business knowledge especially within this market sector.
• To obtain instructions within agreed guidelines to achieve agreed business targets.
• To network and business generate.
• To research accurately and present this information in writing to a professional standard.
• Be responsible for your own business development, setting goals and creating a strategy to achieve those goals.
• Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the Middle East and Global business.
• To undertake the efficient administration of all procedures in carrying out business.
• To manage your own workload and support the department head’s workload.
• To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
• To communicate fully with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.
• To perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.
• To be able to think laterally and cross refer business across the KF network.

Requirements

Qualifications/Education Required
• MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
• University degree.
• Language skills: Arabic (preferable but not necessary).
• Team player with good inter personal skills.
• You must have the drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace and be seeking an opportunity for fast track career progression.
• Be diligent and maintain neat and tidy file records at all times.

Career Experience Required
• Experience of working in the commercial sector is required.
• International experience is beneficial.
• The experience, ability and enthusiasm to make and maintain business contacts.
• The ability and willingness to accept responsibility for any delegated tasks and duties.
