Commis 3 (Cold Kitchen)

The Commis 3 is responsible for Preparing the mise en place and handle food preparation and assist with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade.

A luxurious alpine retreat in the heart of the desert, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates is a landmark Dubai hotel and one of Kempinski's most unique city properties. It combines exciting shopping, entertainment and dining options with lavish accommodation, including 15 spacious but cozy ski chalets overlooking Ski Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare kitchen equipment for use.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items.
- Prepare simple food items.
- Prepare food for service.
- Sets up "mis-en-place" for own station.
- Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods.
- Clean kitchen and equipment.
- Ensures that food from own station is delivered on time; asks for help if needed.
- Handle waste and linen.
- Attend all briefings.
- Participate in training.

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Requirements

Competencies:

- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a 5 star luxury hotel.
- Fluency in English (Written and Spoken)
