Job Purpose:

• Prepare all ingredient and basic mise-en-place and assist the chefs in various section of kitchen as instructed by his supervisor in preparing all the dishes related to the restaurant outlet.
• Support the Demi Chef and Commis in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors
• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
• Control food stock and food cost
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections
• Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Collect fish and meat from butchery and to check that all the inter kitchen transfers correspond to the requirements
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control

• A total of 2-3 years Culinary experience
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
• Organized and well planned
• Able to work with speed and efficiency throughout maintaining positive attitude
• High school Diploma
• Previous work experience in a similar position in a four or five star hotel or for a minimum of 1 year
• Basic Food hygiene and HACCP Overview trained
