KBR is looking for a commissioning lead - utilities & offsites with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

• Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering is a must.
• Having a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in oil & gas or petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas, utilities, power steam and air separation projects.

The utilities & offsites commissioning lead shall provide guidance to his commissioning team, EPC contractor, sub-contractors within his area of responsibility.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities.

Responsible for the progress of utilities & offsites commissioning activities. Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.

Provide advice and support for senior commissioning manager as and when required. Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractor.

Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.

Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.

Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles. Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificates issuance.

Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.

Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
