KBR is looking for a commissioning lead - sulphur with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.
Experience required:
- Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering is a must.
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with experience in the GCC region as preference.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in oil & gas or petrochemical projects with preference for commissioning sour gas and sulphur recovery projects.
The sulphur area commissioning lead shall provide guidance to his commissioning team, EPC contractor, and sub-contractors within SRU and sweetening units.
Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities.
Responsible for the progress of sulphur commissioning activities. Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
Provide advice and support for the senior commissioning manager as and when required.
Review commissioning manuals issued by the EPC contractor.
Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
Participate in troubleshooting discussions to resolve commissioning obstacles.
Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificates issuance.
Monitor and approve the closeout of punch lists in his area.
Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
