KBR is looking for a Commissioning Lead - Sulphur with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is a must.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the commissioning/operation readiness position with experience in the GCC region preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with preference for commissioning sour gas and sulphur recovery projects.
• The Sulphur Area Commissioning Lead shall provide guidance to the commissioning team, EPC contractor, and sub-contractors within SRU and sweetening units.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities.
• Responsible for the progress of sulphur commissioning activities. Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Provide advice and support for the senior commissioning manager as and when required.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by the EPC contractor.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting discussions to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the closeout of punch lists in the assigned area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
