Job description

Mission

Ensure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution on analysers, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international standards.

Tasks

• Ensure that all activities within the area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
• Acknowledge the involvement of the job role in the permit to work (PTW) system and verify the safety measures described in the PTW for the job role involvement, including area preparation and restoration.
• Identify and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environment.
• Execute the tests and inspections according to the project documentation, together with the team of technicians and vendors.
• Log the test results into the approved tests and inspection forms and reports.
• Focus on analysers: the role is centered around commissioning, startup, maintenance, and testing of analytical instruments (typically gas analyzers, emissions monitoring systems, etc.).
• HSE emphasis: strong focus on health, safety and environment (HSE), which is standard in hazardous industries.
• PTW system knowledge: PTW (permit to work) systems are used in controlled environments like refineries, offshore platforms, or chemical plants.
• Technical testing and reporting: the role includes executing tests, inspections, and logging results - typical duties of a technician or engineer working on instrumentation or analyzers.
