Job description / Role
Our Client, a leading global organisation, is looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to have your pulse on the global business and to connect with stakeholders. To have the ability to see things differently; analysing and making sense of the key cultural, stakeholder and market insights required, to design the best possible communications plan to deliver on that task.
The key responsibilities of the role, are as follows:
• To create the storytelling strategy and make it happen; maintain the brand voice in everything the company does;
• Live and breathe the company digital community;
• Write and create content, including but not limited to: sales literature, digital content and the business collateral for a variety of audiences;
• Manage relationships with media agencies, the press, customers, stakeholders/partners and public associations;
• Partner with the company’s leaders globally, by booking guest speaking spots and panels, as well as exclusive PR opportunities.
• Measure, track, and optimize all communications programs, to drive stronger revenue growth and continuous improvement within the organisation;
• Support with activity planning and campaign delivery;
In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:
• 4 years’ relevant communication skills;
• A strong ability to articulate clearly, concisely and creatively in both the written and spoken form;
• Experience and understanding of the correlation between communication, marketing and sales;
• Ability to think differently: be creative & adaptive, entrepreneurial, independently-minded; deeply immersed in cultural understanding and driven by a desire to know more about the world / to better understand people’s motivations & behaviours in the shifting landscape;
• Be qualified with a BA in Communication, Journalism or another related field.
