Communications Specialist - Emiratisation

Job description / Role

You as a Communications Specialist - UAE and Gulf countries will be a part of the Corporate Communications team which is an integral and important channel to improve customer intimacy and enhance value proposition. You will develop and implement programs for internal and external communications within the assigned area of responsibility, in line with global business strategy, corporate communications strategy, corporate identity and brand positioning.

Communication programs
Assist in developing and implementing communications programs and messages including marketing communications, publicity, editorial support, web content, and direct marketing to educate and inform key stakeholders including customers, management, employees, trade media and interest groups.

Executional excellence
Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy.

Supplier relations
Responsible for supplier relations within the team eg design, videography, event management as required.

Manages communication materials
Support key management with personal communications materials including presentations, articles, and employee recognition.

Event organization
Manage contribution to key events such as trade exhibitions. Develop and organize customer seminars and employee meetings.

Budget
Own budget for communications programs and ensure budget alignment with corporate and division communications on local level.

Requirements

Ideally you should have a university degree (preferably in Communications /Public Relations /New Media, or any related field of digital communications) with at least 3-5 years’ of experience in a marketing or communications role. Furthermore,you should be social media savvy & any prior experience in an industrial or business-to- business environment will be preferred.
