EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading multinational looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager to be based in UAE.

Our client is in need of Compensation and Benefits Manager to be part of a growing team of HR professionals in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for designing, overseeing, benchmarking and implementing the organisation's compensation and benefits programs across Middle East and Africa, Turkey and India, covering management, HR systems and policies through the review of policies, procedures, practices and programs for effective and efficient reward management.

Responsibilities would include:
- Leading and managing the implementation of compensation, benefits and manpower plans in line with the company’s policies / regulations and international standards to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the compensation and benefits function to ensure fair remuneration to employees and optimum utilisation of the manpower as per business needs
- Developing the organisation’s compensation policies regarding salaries, allowances, incentives, fixed and variable bonuses as well as benefits and welfare plans to ensure fair and consistent practice in this area
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of updated job descriptions and applying appropriate job evaluation systems to determine the relative importance of jobs and assigning a suitable job grade for every position at all times to ensure all jobs in the company have evaluated job descriptions in line with approved organisation structure
- Leading the preparations, consolidations and obtaining of approvals for annual HR budgets, in collaboration with the members of the management and other stakeholders. Monitoring the number of positions created in the system and the costs incurred against budget
- Preparing the annual compensation and benefits plans together with the right budgets and determining actual costs
- Proposing annual salary increase together with the relevant cost subject to be reviewed and approved by the upper management
- Managing the process for regular / periodical salary and benefits surveys and comparing results with market standards. Working closely with the Head of HR in developing the right salary structures
- Ensuring employee satisfaction surveys are conducted periodically. Studying survey reports to recommend action plans and ensuring the efficient implementation of action plans for areas of improvement to ultimately close gaps
- Conducting benchmarking analysis on compensation and benefits and providing inputs and suggestions to achieve international best practices. Closely monitoring changes in international standards, which demand proactive action plans in line with company objectives

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 7 years in HR Management / Compensation and Benefits with at least 2 years in a managerial role
