Employment: Full Time

Competition Supervisor (2 Openings)

• Supervises developing the planning and scheduling of allocated sport.
• Ensures that officials, presenters and score keepers are aligned to sports timetable and prepared for the event.
• Trains and onboards volunteers provided to the allocated sport.
• Supervises, and participates in the set-up, and take-down of sports, and special events and ceremonies
• Liaisons with public safety, emergency responders, facility staff, event organizers, and custodial staff to ensure effective and professional event management
• Controls and manages inventory materials related to the competitions
• Prepares all necessary site materials and venues for efficient, safe, and service oriented competitions
• Attends all regularly scheduled meetings for the best supervising advices.
• Sets, communicates and maintains timelines and priorities on every competition
• Provides leadership, motivation, direction and support to junior teams
• Any other duties might be assigned to this role

• Competition zones management
• Event partners and service providers
• Athletes and participants

Requirements

Education and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher Diploma from a reputable university in Business Administration, Health and Physical Education, Sports & Exercises fields.

Languages:
• Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferable.

Experiences:
• A minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in sports and events management.
• A minimum of 2+ years in a leadership or management role with exposure to major events is recommended.
