Employment: Full Time

Our client, a multi-asset investment management firm, is looking for a highly hands on compliance and deputy money laundering officer to assist them with any task falling under the ambit of firm wide compliance for their office situated in the DIFC.

Our client is a multi-asset global investment institution with a focus on growing and emerging markets. They have offices located on different regions of the world which facilitate their global operations.

Description
Primary to the role is monitoring adherence to the procedures and systems, as prescribed in the compendium of procedures.

* Refining and managing aspects of the Compliance Monitoring Programme;
* Administrating personal account transaction rules, the restricted list and staff declarations;
* Administrating the Group's client on boarding and KYC procedures, liaising with the external fund administrator;
* Contributing and facilitating a "compliance culture" within the organization;
* Contributing to making recommendations to senior management to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
* Contributing to the review of LP KYC files as the need arises;
* Contributing to the reviewing process of consultative papers issued by the DFSA;
* Ensuring that the company maintains institutional-quality operational and compliance processes and procedures;
* Preparation and submission of various regulatory filings and liaison with appropriate regulators;
* Primary liaison with Brokers, Custodians, Administrators, AML & KYC consultants, etc.; and
* Promoting a culture of compliance and fiduciary responsibility within the firm and conducting pre and post-trade compliance activities.

Requirements

* Above all, must have the highest standards of integrity, morality, confidentiality and fiduciary responsibility
* Will have at least 4 years' experience within the compliance industry;
* UAE experience is essential;
* Will have the working knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in line with the DFSA;
* Ability to liaison with key internal and external stakeholders;
* Be extremely hands-on, detail oriented, with strong problem solving, project management and risk analysis skills;
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Arabic;
* Will be able to work autonomously, and as part of a team;
