The ICS team is considered essential to the growth of the Firm, whether in Human Resources, Finance or Marketing. A career in Compliance in Financial Advisory at Deloitte Corporate Finance Limited is a key support link in the delivery of work to our clients, putting you in the position of trusted advisor to businesses across the region. Our role is not only to protect the reputation of Deloitte by ensuring adherence to the procedures, laws and relevant rules and regulations, but also to work with the engagement teams to ensure we achieve this level of compliance while understanding how to balance the regulatory burden. We actively work together with leadership and the firm to instill a compliance culture into every decision and every action by Deloitte people.

Reporting to the Compliance Director of the Financial Advisory (FA) practice, the jobholder will help to develop, monitor and implement the compliance monitoring programme and procedures on engagements and prospective business opportunities. This includes but is not limited to:
• Conducting reviews of client and engagement take-on procedures;
• Advising engagement teams on the firm’s AML, compliance and client and engagement take-on procedures;
• Assist the Compliance Officer in reviewing new laws and regulations that may impact the FA businesses and services;
• Compiling monthly, quarterly and annual compliance and AML related statistics for distribution to senior management;
• Updating the various compliance, AML and Operational Procedures manuals as and when needed;
• Distribution and monitoring of various compliance related training programs and e-learnings;
• Contribute to the various management reports relating to compliance & AML that are compiled;
• Work with the Compliance Director to embed a compliance culture within the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business related)
• Formal compliance related qualification - advantageous but not essential (ACAMS etc).
• 2-3 years’ experience in a financial services or other regulated environment – advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy especially in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Strong prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Strong communication and excellent oral and writing skills
