Job description / Role
We are seeking a Compliance Manager for a new fund administrator / fund platform which has already attracted considerable talent. The CEO is a highly talented and entrepreneurial individual and seeks only the best talent and the highest of standards within their organisation as they provide a first-class service to their international clients. As such, only candidates who are currently or have previously been registered within the DFSA compliance framework will be considered.
Role responsibilities:
- Will encompass full oversight of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, completion of risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance issues, collaboration with various departments to ensure adherence to regulations, development and implementation of compliance programs and training initiatives.
- The role will liaise with key stakeholders for full preparation and submission of compliance reports to management and international regulatory bodies.
- The role will also include the supervision of the archiving of data and document management systems to ensure highly confidential information is secure and all associated administration complete.
Requirements:
- It is essential that candidates hold an exceptionally high standard of English, both verbal and written and as stated have been or currently are DFSA registered.
- At least 5 years’ experience in fund administration or financial services and you will be an adaptable, professional and commercially aware individual, ensuring compliance and regulatory matters are always adhered to when new laws and recommendations are required.
- Candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, law, or a related field, strong knowledge of frameworks, excellent analytical and organizational skills.
