Job description / Role
We are currently looking for a Compliance Office to join Halian's Dubai office on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding IT Services company on a tax free salary.
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for connecting sales with the rest of the Operational functions and ensure the flow of information is accurate, timely and standardised to ensure the Emerging Markets business is transacted efficiently. You will also ensure the EM business is compliant with all local legal requirements and provide financial and non-financial reporting to the EM management team and Group Executive.
Transactional activities include:
- New client contract validation review (terms, credit check, taxation issues)
- Check that current client SOW's are received
- Margin report review
- Accrued income reporting
- Review missing contracts report and chase
- Contract renewal dates/finishers
- Liaise with PRO for Visa application for current and future hires
- Liaise with HR for issuing employee contracts and starter process
- Liaise with Finance Admin and HQ Finance
Project activities include:
- Systems implementation
- Bid Management/Support
- Compliancy audits e.g. of current visa expiry dates
- Contract documentation review
