Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Compliance Officer who will be a strong support to the Team Leader Due Diligence in the performance of the due diligence and monitoring processes on applications to establish new companies and existing company amendments to ensure their operations are legitimate and DMCC’s reputation is protected.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conducts screening for new and existing members using Complinet-World Check– ID/passport checks– UN sanctions list- OFAC list.
• Evaluates the Client’s Risk on specified scale to rate client as Low- Medium or High Risk under the guidance of the Team Leader Due Diligence.
• Assists the Team Leader Due Diligence in the performance of enhanced Due Diligence for high risk clients.
• Evaluates the reliability of the client’s provided information by performing extensive research under the guidance of the Team Leader Due Diligence.
• Assists the Team Leader Due Diligence in ensuring Know Your Customer documentation are in order and comply with DMCC’s rules and regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to have a bachelor's degree and risk management certification. You also must have at least 2 years experience in compliance with at least a year of experience in AML.

This role requires familiarity with UAE and international laws regarding financial and commodity trade and investment, high level computer literacy and excellent communication skills in English. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification is preferred. Arabic skills would be an added advantage.
