Compliance Officer & MLRO

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is proudly partnered with an international financial services firm who are now looking to appoint an MLRO and Compliance Officer to their growing Dubai team.

The MLRO will be the named representative and key point of contact for the firm with the DFSA, ensuring that the AML policies are up to date with the regulatory guidelines. The role will also oversee onboarding activities of the group across both Middle East and European offices.

Additionally, this role will encompass internal compliance duties, working closely with the senior leadership on developing the design of policies, procedures, systems and controls across the Middle East platform and working closely with London head office to ensure group wide alignment. The successful candidate will work very closely with the SEO and Group Head of Compliance in London.

To be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in compliance across both AML and Regulatory topics. Having previously being approved by the DFSA would be advantageous, however, the firm would also consider very strong compliance professionals from the UK. Having experience to prime brokerage would be an advantage as well.
