WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A CONFIGURATION & CHANGE MANAGER TO JOIN THE THALES TEAM IN DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

The Configuration & Change Manager is responsible for the definition and integrity of the Configuration Management Systems and is responsible for the management of the change management process for the assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participates in the analysis of contractual requirements (in the bid and project phases);
• Tailors the Configuration Management system and related tools;
• With subcontractors and suppliers, assures the application of the Configuration Management and change process;
• Participates in project phase reviews and leads in configuration audits;
• Specifies, chooses and deploys methodologies (including metrics), tools/platforms necessary for Configuration Management activities;
• Plans, Controls and Coordinates all Configuration and change Management activities;
• Participates and contributes to Project Meetings (internal and external) when scheduled and/or requested;
• Compiles project reports relating to change and configuration elements

Due to the changing nature of the industry this position may require to fulfil other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Requirements

• Configuration and change manager with advanced level experience (min. 5 years) in the Configuration and change management discipline for complex integrated IT, Telecommunication and Security projects in the transportation domain.
• The Configuration Manager role requires a sound technical knowledge of all the main technologies/products and subsystems used to implement IT, Telecom and Security services, with good level of understanding of products & subsystems.
• Knowledge of System Engineering disciplines and processes, CMMI principles will be an important consideration in the candidate evaluation.
• The candidate must have developed through his professional experiences the ability to work collaboratively, managing Customer and Supplier relationships.
• Degree Qualified Engineer
• High degree of competency in written and spoken English is mandatory
• Configuration Management processes and practices
• And configuration Management standards and Tools
