Consolidations Manager

Job description / Role

The Consolidation & Accounting Manager is a very hands-on position with a mix of management role (Treasury/AP/HQ) & executing (Consolidation & Accounting)

Leading O&G service provider based in the UAE

Description
Perform monthly reviews of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts at HQ level with all BLs, including business indicators such as profitability and liquidity

* Consolidate and present monthly analysis on costs and revenue
* Provide data supporting financial planning, forecasting and monitoring of results versus objectives
* Ensure implementation of standard finance practices, involvement with the standardization of standard financial practices
* Focal point for coordination of Financial & Statutory Audits for Consolidated & Stand-Alone entities
* Treasury & AP Supervisor
* Management of Treasury, Accounts Payables & HQ Department
* Liaise with Supply Chain function to define, maintain and continually refine the P2P process
* Own the administration and management of banking facilities
* Manage Cash Flow on a daily basis
* Supervise Central Accounts Payables Department
* Manage HQ shared cost BL P&L

Requirements

* Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Preferably qualified CA, CPA or ACCA
* Must have Minimum of 5-6years of External Audit experience from a big 4 firm
* Must have industry experience already - Minimum of 2-3years of finance/accounting management experience in a large organization
* Ability to apply deductive reasoning and draw conclusions to solve problems and facilitate decision making process.
* Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with as well as support effective partnerships with peers and subordinates, and to influence operations.
* Ability to manage & develop a Team of Accountants & Clerks
