Construction Manager

Job description / Role

• Manage all site construction activities reference to project documents and work schedule.
• Providing support to site construction team for the preparation and issuance of general construction procedures to be put in plant in the project.
• Coordinating and expediting constructability workshops with all parties.
• Prepare and manage list of all site needs.
• Analyze potential impacts on the construction execution plan.
• Act as focal point between site construction team and Engineering and Procurement team.
• Manage the project stake holders and ensure of implementation for project safety and quality procedures.
• Manage project subcontractors.
• Expedite the compliance of all requirements for mobilization of Contractor personnel to Site.
• Work jointly with site construction team in order to prepare and issue all documentation in due time.
• Ensure that Material management comply with project needs.
• Coordinating the commissioning activities
• Review construction schedules issued by site construction team.

Requirements

• Ideal Candidate shall be qualified as a Graduate / Post Graduate Mechanical Engineer with 10 - 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas EPC Projects.
• Candidates with previous experience in ADNOC / QP / Oman PDO / Saudi Aramco Projects will have an advantage.
• The candidate should have worked in the capacity of an independent Construction Manager for the last 5 years in EPC Projects with total project value in excess of US$ 500 Million for the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Candidates having previous employment history with other major oil and gas contractors will have an advantage.
• Industry related trainings, Oil and Gas MBA will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should have a demonstrable track record in Contract Administration, Schedule Management, Engineering and Change Management in Oil and Gas Projects.
