Construction Manager (Bridges/Tunnels)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a minimum of 15 years of expertise in Bridge or Tunnel construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality standards, and regulations while effectively leading the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring all project milestones, timelines, and objectives are met.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Monitor the implementation of safety measures and resolve any non-compliance issues immediately.
- Team Coordination: Lead and supervise on-site and off-site teams, working closely with construction workers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain a seamless workflow.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly review the progress of construction work, identifying any delays or issues and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate, draft, and finalize contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Obtain necessary permits and licenses required for the project.
- Risk Management: Assess potential risks associated with construction projects and take proactive steps to mitigate any issues that could impact the project timeline or quality.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the construction process meets high-quality standards by overseeing the application of proper construction techniques, materials, and processes.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations on all projects.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Bridge or Tunnel Construction.
- Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is required.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 27,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
