Job description / Role
• You are responsible for management, development and planning of one or more activities of one large construction site;
• You install and organize the construction (logistics, materials, people);
• You direct all aspects of the day-to-day execution of the project, and you monitor and coordinate work performed by superintendents and workmen;
• You lead, coach and manage several skilled and experienced site execution staff;
• You direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations;
• You plan the resources;
• You maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives;
• You attend important site meetings;
• To Manage the risk and opportunities associated with the agreed objectives
• To provide key deliverables and attend key project meetings;
• To collect and review of related trackers and reports
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer
• Large main contractor back ground
• Experience within large and complex building projects
• You continuously look for opportunities to do things better and you anticipate problems. When a problem is detected you are able to solve it.
• You can deal with resistance and adversity and you act decisively in unexpected situations. You show personal accountability for decisions made and report spontaneously to senior level about the project progress.
• You generate new ways of working and help others to continuously improve the work process. You demonstrate personal commitment, perseverance and energy to achieve your goals until completion.
